 Ascension Meeting Schedule

 District meetings are held on the 2^nd Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. at Power House located at 715 W. Worthey St., Gonzales, LA.  All AA members are welcome to attend.

 Article 2 of the District 16 Charter states:

                         The Purpose of the District Committee is:

1.      To carry the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers.

2.    To inform and assist groups in the understanding and sharing of service responsibilities

3.    To elect a District Committee Member, Alternate District Committee Member, Officers and Alternate Officers.

4.    To form such committees as may be necessary to carry out our purpose and receive monthly reports from these committees.

5.     To disburse such money as necessary to carry out our purposes

6.    To provide a forum for the exchange of information between this organization and other AA service committees.

7.    To assist the DCM and GSR in discharging their responsibilities as outlined in the AA Service Manual.
